Man-Machines by Fritz Kahn

Der Mensch als Industriepalast [Man as Industrial Palace] from Henning Lederer on Vimeo.

The Body Machines(big pic) based on a poster by the artist Fritz Kahn from 1927.
"The image above, by the artist Fritz Kahn, shows the nervous system as a complex electronic signalling system, complete with buttons, charts and busy workers. Fritz Kahn's books and illustrations explored the inner machinery of the human body, using metaphors of modern industrial life. Kahn turned the brain into a complex factory with light projectors, conveyor belts, secretaries and cinema screens; he showed the journeys of blood cells as locomotives encircling the globe; and he compared bones to modern building materials such as reinforced concrete. Some updates. God is good.

First of all, for those who don't know, I moved back to Taiwan. Regarding to my prior plans about studying interior design, they're in halt. I've been working for a research organization for the past three months and is quite happy with the stability it provides. I now have a LOT more time to spend with my parents and friends, which I found extremely important over the past year or so.

Another fact that shook me, is "Time is short, so do what you want to do, and be with the people you cherish. Now!"

Yet, I'm so glad that, although life changes, people comes and goes, the next moment is unpredictable, God is always and ALWAYS the same. He has held me through the most troubling times. Even when I don't recognize and acknowledge His present, He never left.

I've grown to know more about myself, what I like and dislike, what I desire from the one life that I have, and what/who matters the most. The final haven't been said, and the story continues. But before it does, pause and look back, thank God for all the blessings and the things that could have gone wrong (very wrong) without His mercy and grace. When the road is rough and the future lonely, remember that He is WITH you, and He IS ABLE to walk you through. No mountain is too high, and no problem is too big for God. He does NOT need your help. If you feel that your life is so overwhelming that you can barely stand, things are so messed up that you don't even know where to go tomorrow. I encourage you, call out to Jesus today. Ask Him to take control of your life, your burden, and your problems. Give it back to God, and ask for peace and forgiveness. Your God is the God of all gods. Whether if it's your finance, your health, your job, your marrage, or is it a child that have gone stray...GOD IS ABLE. And with God, you can make it. You will make. I'm telling you this not because I made such effort, but I too need to rely on God's word and God's faithfulness more than ever before. So I pray that Jesus will listen to your prayers today, hold you, protect you, and guide you through. I give the Lord all the glory and praise. Amen.
